Pawz & Schnoz is a consciously crafted, small-batch pet balm designed to protect, nourish, and restore dogs’ paws and noses through every season. Rooted in sustainable beekeeping and thoughtful formulation, it brings together hive wisdom and plant allies to support skin that works hard every day.
At the heart of the balm is beeswax and propolis from healthy, well-tended hives—nature’s own system for protection and repair. Beeswax creates a breathable barrier against cold, heat, salt, and rough terrain, while propolis helps soothe stressed skin and support its natural resilience. Carefully chosen oils and butters condition deeply without irritation and remain gentle for frequent use and curious licks.
Every ingredient is selected with intention and purpose. We skip trends and unnecessary additives, focusing instead on balance, function, and safety—so what goes on your dog is as considered as what goes on you.

Ingredients & Why We Chose Them
Beeswax – Creates a breathable, protective barrier that shields paws and noses from cold, heat, salt, and rough terrain while helping lock in moisture.
Shea Butter – Deeply nourishing and soothing, supporting dry, cracked skin and helping restore softness without irritation.
Avocado Oil – Rich in skin-loving fatty acids that condition, strengthen, and support the natural skin barrier.
Jojoba Oil – Closely mimics the skin’s natural oils, helping balance moisture and absorb easily without feeling greasy.
Propolis – A powerful gift from the hive, traditionally used to calm, protect, and support skin under stress.
Vitamin E – Helps protect the oils in the balm and supports healthy-looking skin.
Why No Coconut Oil?
While popular in many pet products, coconut oil isn’t always ideal for dogs. It can be overly occlusive on paws, contribute to irritation for some dogs, and may cause digestive upset when frequently licked. We chose ingredients that better align with canine skin biology—gentle, balanced, and functional.
