Throughout the surrounding neighbourhoods are backyard gardens, community pollinator gardens and meadows being allowed to naturalize and regenerate—creating an ever-changing mosaic of forage for bees and other pollinators.\u003c\/span\u003e\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003e\u003cspan\u003eOur bees don’t know property lines.\u003c\/span\u003e\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003e\u003cspan\u003eThey simply follow the bloom.\u003c\/span\u003e\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003e\u003cspan\u003eThey move from garden to meadow, tree canopy to ravine, gathering tiny amounts of nectar from thousands upon thousands of flowers before carrying it home to the hive.\u003c\/span\u003e\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003e\u003cspan\u003eWhat they create is a remarkable expression of \u003c\/span\u003e\u003cspan\u003ethis particular corner of Toronto\u003c\/span\u003e\u003cspan\u003e.\u003c\/span\u003e\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003e\u003cspan\u003eThe flavour changes subtly from year to year because the landscape changes too. Different flowers flourish. Weather patterns shift. New pollinator habitat emerges.
